"My family of 5 adults have just returned from a 12 night private tour in north Vietnam with ActiveTravel Asia. Everything ran very smoothly and professionally...even when inclement weather delayed our 3 day Halong Bay Cruise by one day, our itinerary was swiftly re-organised so we didn't miss a thing (we actually got to see the amazing Ninh Binh as a bonus). Our Hanoi based guide Bac (Buck to us) was excellent, very knowledgeable and enthusiastic while our guide in Sapa (Hiep) was also very knowledgeable as well as funny and entertaining. Our travel consultant Candy rang several times during our trip to make sure everything was going OK. I highly recommend this company to anyone wishing to undertake a tour (private or otherwise) of this amazing country."

Very well organised tour by Candy and she was very quick to rectify problems when they occurred.  Great response by guides, driver and Candy to bicycle accident.  Lap was very popular with the whole group and never failed to be helpful even when very tired or unwell.  

The bikes used on the bike tour were excellent and the operator did his best to keep them 100% operational on a daily basis in spite of very rough terrain. Everyone involved was unfailingly courteous and friendly.  A great tour.

I am willing to recommend ACTIVETRAVEL ASIA on Trip Advisor.

We have really enjoyed our time with Active Travel. The local food and culture were excellent. Our guide was very helpful and friendly, he really went out of his way to make our trip enjoyable. The weather was great, scenery stunning. Our motorbikes went well & were great to ride on.

Dear Candy,

I would like to send you big thanks that you take care of my questions, problems and booking since last August. From the first inquiry, until the tour everything was handled in a very professional manner and to my fullest satisfaction. You surprise me one more time, as you are the first travel agent who call me after the tour to ask, if everything was ok.

Even the tour themselves was handled very professionally from our friendly and knowledgeable tour guide Mr. Thang. He led us together with our always helpful and smiling porters through the jungle of Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park. The trekking with its breaks was quite comfortable and in the same time stunning. Once we reached En Cave our crews set up the tent and make us feel like home.

In the next day we make our way to Son Doong Cave together with Mr. Thang, Mr. Ho-Khanh and two supporters. It was a unique and unforgettable experience for my wife and me, which we are still talking about.

On the next morning we start our hike back to the meeting point where our driver picked us up. Everything was perfectly timed and we never had the feeling that anything run out of control.

We are looking forward to try another tour with ActiveTravel Asia; maybe you can recommend me one ;)

We are very happy with the service that ACTIVETRAVEL ASIA provided. Our consultant, Candy, listened to our goals and provided a comprehensive program that achieved our travel goals. In addition, Candy was very prompt, courteous, and professional in all of the replies.

We enjoyed Hanoi and North Vietnam the most because we were able to see the day-to-day routines of Vietnamese people.  Trekking near Sapa was peaceful, homestays were very interesting, Halong Bay was gorgeous, and motorbiking was fun. Quyen Vu was our favorite guide because his English was excellent, and he was very patient, happy, and professional. We also enjoyed the bicycling and boating in the Mekong Delta area.

Thanks again for arranging such a wonderful tour!
